The "Doctor Of Blues" joined us to discuss his newest album, Blues Intervention, which is a fierce, energetic blend of blues, rock, soul, and funk. Together he calls it "acid blues."

We spoke to Marshall about his history - how he went from playing in punk bands to his current love, The Blues".  He described his journey from growing up in a cabin in the woods, to his time in California, his education to earn his Ph.D. in psychology.

We also talked about his friend John Wilds, who unfortunately suffered a stroke while recording the previous album with Marshall.

Out of Nashville, TN comes the rocking blues sound of the Don Ray Band. Don sat with us this evening and talked about his musical journey.

Beginning with playing drums with his father's band at the age of 10, to his move to Austin, TX and his playing with many of the top bands from that area to his new collaboration that brings a fresh sound to the blues.
