When you hear about a group of teens who are playing the blues with a passion, you have to check them out.

Helping to keeping this genre alive for another generation is The Brighter Side band from the Canton, OH area.

Comprised of Jake Friel on vocals and harp, Fuad Farah on guitar, Noah Simionides on bass and Keith Wilson on drums, the band made it to Memphis for the Youth Showcase in 2011 and plan on making it back for the 2013 International Blues Challenge. I would not bet against them.
