In 2008, Danielle, Kris and Nick Schnebelen made their way through the Kansas City IBC prelims and made their way to Memphis.

Children of parents who had been busy in the KC area blues scene for years, the three who make up the band Trampled Under Foot took the town by storm and won the whole thing. Nick was also won the Albert King Award.

Since, this trio has been going non-stop and they don't plan on having it end anytime soon.

Danielle and Kris joined me on The Couch and discussed their childhood growing up in a music family and how they each played separately until coming together and forming the band in 2004.

We also heard music from their latest album Wrong Side Of The Blues.
