Holly Long hails from Venice, CA. We chatted about her life growing up in Chicago and how she got to California. We discussed her album Frequency and how she composed the songs contained on her newest release. We also talked about how Holly finds a way to continue to give back to her community.

The band Ironwood Rain hails from Colorado. All four band members joined me on The Couch for our chat.Bassist Scotte Burns, guitarists Mark Kloepfer and JJ Maestas and drummer Gary St. Germaine bring a sound that is not heard often these days. We talked about their individual histories and the formation of the band and heard music from their release Burn The Ships.
