Bobby has been sharing his blues styling’s for years. We talked about his journey from Northern NJ to playing with Stevie Winwood, Lou Gramm and so many others while releasing 8 albums of his own.

John returns to The Couch after an extended absence. We found out about his last 4 years, both professionally and personally while we explored the music on the album, Feelin’ Freaky.

Bob Corritore returned to The Couch, this time with John Primer. The two released their second album, Ain’t Nothing You Can Do in late April and we talked about John’s beginnings, how the two met and the fun they’ve had recording together.

BALKUN BROTHERS – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
Steve & Nick sat with me in March of 2016 around the time their album Balkun Brothers was released. They return to talk about the newest release, Devil On TV. This one is self-produced and shows their hard-edged side of Blues. Steve, Nick and I talked about their last year, the music on the album…how they look at The Blues and more.

JEROME GODBOO – Segment Begins At The 49:30 Mark
Jerome has been on stages for over 30 years and took home the Lee Oskar Harmonica Player Award at the 2014 IBC. Now, he leads the band Godboogie and they’ve released the album Play Music & Dance…good advice.
Jerome and I discussed his journey from Western Canada to Toronto and the world, while we listened to and talked about the music on the new album.

Jim has a new project. It is now called Jim Roberts & The Resonants. I finally got to sit Jim down to talk about his journey to today, including the detours the road took him on while we listened to music from Beneath The Blood Moon.

Janiva returned with her latest hit, Blue Again. On this one, Janiva takes on six classic Blues songs and makes them her own. She and I talked about her last year, the reasons she selected the songs for this album and Janiva had a moving answer to the question; “Do the awards and accolades still mean something after all these years…”

Steve is out of Houston, TX. In April he released, Should’ve Seen It Coming and it continues to get solid airplay. Steve and i spoke about his journey from Brooklyn to Houston and places in between while we listened to tunes from the album.

Couch Kids, The Bridget Kelly Band have released Bone Rattler. This collection of 22 songs will show you the real deal Bridget Kelly Band. Bridget & Tim joined me to talk about their current tour and the album which is a double set. They talked about why two albums and their plans for the future.

Kate owns Australia right now and is planning on taking on the rest of the world, Her 4th album, Let It Fly is out and it contains 10 originals and two blues standards. After a short delay, Kate and I connected and talked about her journey in music and the blues while we listened to tune from the album.

The Ann Arbor Blues Festival has become a Festival Sponsor for Music On The Couch. The festival is returning after an 11-year absence and we spoke with Founder, James Partridge about the event and how it all came back together.

Mandy & Sturgis returned with their newest album, "Sanctified". We talked about the last two years for the band, their travels to Europe and what they like about performing there and much more. It is always a blast with these two.

Brad appeared on the show back when he was Bad Brad…now he returns with a brand new album entitled "Took You Long Enough". It was great to catch up with Brad and find out about his life, professionally and personally over the last two years. The new album shows the growth and maturity of this fine artist.
