SHAKURA S’AIDA - COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
Shakura returned to The Couch. Always a pleasure to speak with this talented woman. She shared tales of her world and we listened to tunes from her new album, Hold On To Love, the first in ten years.
AL BASILE - COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
Al has visited every year since 2015 with new music. He returned for 2023 with B’s Time, a salute to his 25 years with his 20th release. We went back and listened to tunes from before we met and the different styles he was exploring.
EG KIGHT – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
EG made her third visit to The Couch. What a delight to spend some time with EG and tlak about her renewed love of the road and sharing music from Sticks & Strings.

GROOVE KREWE
Rex Piece is one of the three men who formulated The Groove Krewe. Rex and I spoke about how it all happened to come together, their first recording and now with Jonathon “Boogie” Long they released Blues From The Bayou. Fun chat.

Tommy and I explored his journey to owning an iconic Blues venue, leading a band, releasing albums, raising mules – wait, we never got to the mules – but it was a fun chat, and we heard some tunes from Tommy Lee's Jonesin’.

Hills Walt and I had a good chat about the last few years since he was here. We spoke about the new music on Twelve Bar Prescription and the band’s bright future. I enjoy speaking with Hills and would love to see this band live.

The gents have released Damn The Rent and Ronnie Shellist joined Gerry Hundt and myself this time. We found out more about Ronnie, and then about the music the band has been creating. Including the new DIG 3 BIG lineup. Fun conversations. Great music

CHAD RUPP & THE SUGAR ROOTS - COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
The band has released their sophomore album The Devil Won’t Get You, and Chad and I were joined by Timmer Blakley. Fun conversation and we heard some news about their record label.

BOB MARGOLIN – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
Bob Margolin returned to The Couch with his new album, Thanks. Always a pleasure to speak with Bob and he gave us insight into the songs we played.

JACK’S WATERFALL – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
The new album is entitled Call Dr. John, a tribute to the late legend and has guest appearances by Couch Kid Maria Muldaur and Amy Correia. Jack Licitra and I spoke about the album, the changes in his world and more.

COYOTE KINGS
Out of eastern Washington State comes this band featuring vocalist Tiphony Dames and founder and guitarist Robin Barrett. We had a real good talk, learning about each of their journeys and where the Coyote Kings are headed, while listening to tunes from Hot Mess.
