ROBINSON TREACHER - Segment begins At The 47:30 Mark

Robinson Treacher is from NYC.  We spoke with Robinson about his past work with Delaware Hudson and Tensleep and his decision to go acoustic and solo. We were also graced with music off of Robinson's album Chrome AND he allowed us to hear songs from the forthcoming album Porch.

CHAPIN SISTERS

Abigail and Lily Chapin are the daughters of Tom, and the nieces of Harry. This was not the major topic of our conversation though. We talked about their new album Two and the story behind it's production and sound. The ladies shared with us their thoughts on the music they play, their time out on the road with She And Him and their plans for the support of Two.

DUSTY & THE ROBODRUM - Segment Begins At The 46:30 Mark

Dusty joined us to discuss his band RoboDrum and the new lineup he has put together over the last few months. RoboDrum uses a drum programming machine to create contemporary blues. Dusty and I discussed how this concept came about and how he does 'looping' to create the sounds.We also talked about the music being worked on for a February release and his influences that brought him to the music scene.

SAVIO REGO 

Savio Rego was born in Bombay, India, moved to California when he was 17 and now is living in Berlin Germany. The one constant is the music in his life and now he has his debut album All I Want out there to share with music lovers worldwide. Savio sat and talked about his journey and we got some insight into what is coming down the road in the next few months.

BOBBY JOE OWENS FROM RETRO DELUXE - Segment Begins At The 47:55 Mark

From Bowie, MD comes Bobby Joe Owens and his band Retro Deluxe. With their second album in about 18 months dropping this week, we had Bobby Joe sit and tell us about his path to the blues. Watermelon Tea, the band's new album is a collection of blues numbers recorded in Mississippi. With a new line-up, Retro deluxe is ready to take on the world.
