Rescheduled from last year, Sandy returned to The Couch to talk about Blues & Angels, her time at the IBC, how her albums are recorded and more as we listened to tunes from the album.

Bill ‘Sauce Boss’ Wharton brought his Gumbo pot to The Couch and we talked about how the cooking and playing all came about and listen to tunes from the latest release, Blind Boy Willie and its accompanying book.

Sugaray returned to The Couch to talk about the new album, Somebody Save Me, which dropped on Friday. Always a blast to speak with Sugaray and we discussed the world-wide touring, as well as his relationship producer with Eric Corne.

Randy released his 8th album, I Got Lucky, back in November and we finally got a chance to sit and discuss his journey and the new music. This was a fantastic conversation with a real musician…oh yeah, music is something special too.

BOBBY ‘BLACKHAT’ WALTERS
We finally got together for this segment. We talked about how Bobby found the harmonica, the music he creates and what is yet to come while listening to songs from Put On Your Red Shoes and his latest single “Blackhat For President”. I do have to apologize to Bobby for a horrible attempt at humor at the end of our interview. Bobby had NOTHING to do with it and I have deleted from the podcast.

BRANDON SANTINI – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
Brandon releases The Longshot on March 15th and he came by and we talked about all he has been up to and the new sound he has created on the album. We also discussed his continuing road-warrior attack on America.

Josh and I finally had the chance to sit and talk about his musical journey and the music on the new album, Love In Disguise. Josh spoke about his songwriting and his desire to get on the road.

Pete V was scheduled, but he was under the weather and was passed out when I called. He promises new music early next year and he and I will get together then. I ended the show with 3 songs off of Shaken But Not Deterred.

Kevin came to Memphis in 2018 and took home first place in the Solo/Duo Challenge at the IBC. He and I talked about all that went into his getting there and all that has happened since then while listening to Heartland & Soul.
PAULA HARRIS – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC

Paula returns with Speakeasy her latest project, which does not drop until May 1, that swirls us in a world of Blues and Jazz. Paula and I talked about the creation of this acoustic album… NO GUITARS! And it is simply wonderful.
